CDS 2 Notification 2024
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II) 2024 under Exam Notice No. 11/2024 CDS-II. The commission invited applicants to get admitted to the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Wings, and Officer Training Academy in India.
According to the notice, the total number of vacancies for CDS 2 is 459. The application portal is ongoing from May 15, 2024, to June 4, 2024. The CDS 2 exam will be held on September 1, 2024. Go hurry and apply online before the deadline approaches.

How to Fill CDS 2 Registration Form 2024?

- First, the candidates need to visit the UPSC website to register. Or click the link here https://upsconline.nic.in/upsc/OTRP/
- The candidate needs to complete the “One Time Registration” (OTR) by clicking “New Registration”. OTR can be done once in a lifetime. If any candidate has already registered then they can proceed directly with the application process.
- Fill in important personal details- Name, gender, date of birth, parents’ name, phone number, email ID, board exam roll number, etc to complete registration.
- OTR No and password will be sent. Log in with OTR no/phone no/ email ID and password.
- Click on the “Latest Notification” tab and select the exam name.
- Fill in the required details.
- Pay the required fees. Verify the application form before submitting it.
- Download the application form.

Eligibility for CDS 2 2024
Follow the eligibility criteria below—
Citizenship
- The citizens of India
- A subject of Nepal
- Migrated people from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Eastern African Countries.
Age Limit
- Born between January 2, 2006, to January 1, 2009.
- Only unmarried male/female candidates
Education Qualification:
- For Army Wing- 10+2 or equivalent exam from a State Education Board.
- For Aor Force or Naval- 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a State Education Board.
Application Fee for CDS 2 2024
Application fees for all the categories are mentioned below—
- UT/OBC: ₹200
- Female/SC/ST: ₹0

UPSC CDS 2 Exam Pattern 2024
Exam pattern varies for different military academies. The exam pattern is below–

- English: 120 questions, 100 marks
- General Knowledge: 120 questions, 100 marks
- Elementary Mathematics: 100 questions, 100 marks
For Office Training Academy—
- English: 120 questions, 100 marks
