The recruitment authority, Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) is recruiting various Group C positions in 2024. The positions are JE (Junior Engineer), Water Supplier, Subsidiary Water Supplier, Junior Health Inspector, and Assistant Librarian.

KPSC JE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Look for the eligibility criteria for all the positions here—
Education Qualification:
- Junior Engineer:
The candidates must have a diploma or degree in Engineering, civil and mechanical from a recognized university.
- Water Supplier and Subsidiary Water Supplier:
The candidates should have passed SSLC or ITI in relevant trade.
- Junior Health Inspector:
The candidates should have passed SSLC or PUC and a Sanitary Inspector Diploma.
- Library Assistant:
A diploma in Library Science is a must for this post.
Age Limit:
The lower age limit for various categories is 18 years. The upper age limit is—
- General: 35 years
- 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates: 38
- For SC/ST candidates: 40 years.

KPSC JE Recruitment 2024 Application Fees
KPSC JE recruitment 2024 application fees for various categories follow—
- General: ₹600
- 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B candidates: ₹300
- For SC/ST, CAT-1, and PWD: No fees
- Ex-Serviceman: ₹50
KPSC JE 2024 Selection Process
KPSC JE 2024 candidates are recruited through three stages of tests—
- Kannada Language Test:
The candidates must pass the language test. The test consists of 150 marks. They have to score at least 50 marks to qualify for the next round.
- Competitive Exam:
Here in this stage, the candidates have to pass the MCQ type exam. The exam contains two papers. Paper I consists of a 1.5 hours exam of 100 marks questions, from general studies.
Paper II contains 100-mark questions from General English, General Kannada, and Computer Knowledge. The exam lasts 2 hours. ¼ marks get deducted for every wrong answer.
- Document Verification:
The recruitment board will scrutinize every detail you provide including identity cards and certificates to check the authenticity of the documents.
KPSC JE Salary
All the positions have a satisfying salary scale. Follow the monthly salary details here—
- JE: ₹33,450 to ₹62,600.
- Assistant Librarian: ₹30,350 to ₹58,250.
