Gujarat High Court Recruitment Notification 2024
According to the official notification, the Gujarat High Court is inviting eligible individuals to apply for English Stenographer posts (Grade II and Grade III).
The posts include a Stenographer Grade II position in the Industrial and Labour courts and a Stenographer Grade II and III in the Subordinate Courts.
A total of 245 vacancies are announced for the Stenographer position. People who want to work in the high court should apply from May 6 to May 26, 2024, on the official website.

Gujarat HC Stenographer Vacancies – Eligibility Criteria
The Gujarat High Court had announced 245 vacancies. However, all the candidates must follow the eligibility criteria—
Education Qualification:
Stenographer (Grade II):
- The applicants should be graduates of an equivalent pass from any discipline from a government-recognised university.
- English shorthand speed of 120 w.p.m
- Basic knowledge of Computers.
- Must know English, Hindi, and Gujarati
Stenographer (Grade II & III):
- Need shorthand speed of 100 w.p.m
- All the other points are the same as grade II
Age Limit:
- For Stenographers (Grade II) the candidates must be between 21 to 40 years of age.
- For Stenographers (Grade III) the candidates must be between 21 to 36 years old.
- The age relaxation for women/SC/ST/OBC is 5 years.

Gujarat HC Stenographer Registration Fee
The applicant must pay a certain amount online to apply for Gujarat HC Stenographer. Registration fees for every category are—
- SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EWS/PH and Ex-serviceman- ₹750
- Other candidates- ₹1500
Gujarat High Court English Stenographer Selection Process
The candidates have to go through at least three stages of selection rounds to be recruited for the Stenographer post. The selection processes are below—

- The candidates first have to visit the official website of the Gujarat High Court https://gujarathighcourt.nic.in/
- Go to the current jobs section and click on the Apply link for the stenographer.
- The candidates need to register first to apply. Register with basic details like email ID, phone number, and other important information.
- Click on “Request OTP” and enter your OTP. Mark on the “I Agree” button of the declaration.
- After submitting registration details, the candidates will get the registration number/ Login ID and Password.
- Now continue with the application form, the candidate must click on “Post Selection” to apply for the post.
- Fill in the required details in the application form. Upload the scanned documents– photo and signature.
- Pay the application fee via online processes.
- After submitting the candidates will receive a confirmation message of successful application. Download the application form and save it for future reference.
